About the institute

Purpose

Eudavia’s research explores a generative universe and the conditions for civilization and human life to flourish. The name draws inspiration from eudaimonia, the fuller realization of a human life. Our guiding purpose is to place knowledge and intelligence in the service of flourishing. As AI expands our capacity to understand and create, we ask how these capabilities can help people develop their potential, create freely and lead meaningful lives.

Research begins with concrete questions and develops through clear arguments, formal models, computation, criticism and revision.
